Looks like I am guilty of not playing around with AFNI before
asking Qs regarding it again. There is a way in AFNI to view
the default format images outputted by GE's epirecon program.
My epirecon images are named something like this
I.001.01, I.001.02... I.001.21,I.002.01, I.002.02.....I.002.21,
.....I.100.01,I.100.02...I100.21.
21 slices 100 images.
To account for the 80 byte header for each image
The to3d command works if I write
to3d -time:zt 21 100 2500 seq+z -prefix test3 -session .
-xFOV 120L-R -yFOV 120A-P -zSLAB 37I-89S 3D:0:80:64:64:1:I.\*
