The problem stems from the fact that hemodynamic response time is not uniform. I had been using delays of 1, 2, 3 TR (4, 8, 12 s), which correspond to the reported range of response times. But motion is also a problem. If I understand correctly, it appears that I cannot use this pattern of 3 response time delays in the same analysis in which 6 motion correction parameters are used.
