Hi,
I am trying to recover the real clock time from the "acquisition time and image time " found in Simens DICOM header, so that I can know exactly at what date and time this particular image was acquired, which is important for us to align the timing between MRI and the behavioral task (for some reason we had to hand trigger the behavioral task, and the recording of the timing was kind of messed up. I had the start time (real clock time)of the behaviral task recorded in the behavioral task program, my hope is if I can find out the actual clock time when the MRI was acquired, we can align them).

Now, the problem is in the header file it shows something like this
0008,0020,Study Date=20140412
0008,0021,Series Date=20140412
0008,0022,Acquisition Date=20140412
0008,0023,Image Date=20140412
0008,0030,Study Time=161237.368000
0008,0031,Series Time=161541.181000
0008,0032,Acquisition Time=161538.312500
0008,0033,Image Time=161541.183000


My understanding is that the [0008,0032,Acquisition Time=161538.312500 ] is what I am looking for, and 161538.312500 is a number representing the time elapsed since a preset fixed time (such as 01/01/1970) , does anyone know what the reference time
set up by the Simens system is and how to find out?
