AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello AFNI community -

I've created a bunch of binary-coded masks where the different ROIs in the masks have values that are powers of 2 (1,2,4,8, ...) Then I've combined all these masks by adding them together. The result is a meta-mask, in which every active voxel can be decomposed into its contributions from the individual masks. (I think I got this idea originally from an AFNI document but I can't find it now.)

Anyway, in examining these results in the AFNI gui I'd like to filter the active voxels based on specific numbers, as in: "Show me all the voxels with value 15" vs. the usual "Show me all the voxels with value >= 15" that you can obtain with the threshold slider.

I know I can extract any specific voxel and save it to a dataset with 3dcalc; but is there a way to do this interactively, so I can look at some particular combination of mask values? I've googled and read docs but I can't find anything.
