AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,
we run a 3dANOVA3 on some data that are in a standard space, and now want to run 3dClustSim to cluster-correct the results.
So we run 3dFWHMx on the residual of all functional data after regression, and calculte the average smoothness.
Now since the residual data, which we estimate smoothness from, and the anova data, which we want to correct, do not have the same resolution, are we supposed to do anything extra, or we can just feet the average smoothness to the 3dANOVA3 -fwhmxyz option?
ps. I believe both of the output of 3dFWHMx and the 3dANOVA3 -fwhmxyz option are in mm instead of voxels, is it right?
pps, I think there has beed discussions about this, but I cannot find the messages. So sorry if they are still on this board.
Thanks,
George
