AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

As promised to our latest AFNI bootcampers, we are making this script available ....

Because of SUMA's group of enhancements, all kinds of connections can be graphed. So even collaborations among researchers can be represented by "connections" (and connection strength if you want to risk offending your collaborators) with the connections potentially shown with volumes and surfaces in suma. Here is an example screen capture image, but connections can be explored like other kinds of connections, and the whole image can be zoomed and rotated live and with suma's momentum to create movies as your acknowledgement slides.

Two text files need to be edited for collaborators that give coordinates and connections (ROI_coords.txt and ref_names.txt). Then execute the script with process_connections.csh.
