AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Alain,

Did you use "-oob_value 0" in the 3dVol2Surf command?
If not, the results might have different nodes across
subjects.

Apart from that, how are you seeing a registration
problem between the surface and the results? It is
not clear to me how you would even know. Can you be
specific about how you are visualizing such a thing?

Note that 3dttest++ does not do anything to the node
locations. It merely computes some result on the set
of nodes that was given as input. There should not
be any registration question as a result.

Also, the 3dttest++ results should display similarly
on each subject's surface, though each will have a
different distortion, based on registration to the
surface template.

As far as using suma goes, I will leave that for others.
But please provide the output of "afni -ver", in case it
matters.
