AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi again AFNI experts,

I'm building a PPI analysis for a block-design task (2 stim types have blocks 14 sec long, 1 stim type has 46 sec blocks). In the spirit of making this as robust an analysis as PPI can be, is it appropriate to use a GAM HRF (like Gang has on his page through waver) or would a block HRF be better (as through 3dDeconvolve -nodata options).
It seems a block HRF would be more appropriate conceptually but I can't find it actually used anywhere so I'm wondering if I'm missing something with this PPI step? Can one of you clarify for me?
Thanks so much!
Cheers,
L
