AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Thank you SO much for your lightening fast response, Gang!

You're correct that I want to do the group analysis, and the paired t-test would be perfect if I wasn't blind to the drug and placebo sessions. The issue is that instead of calculating sessionA-sessionB or sessionB-sessionA, I need to see the Abs(sessionA-sessionB). It's completely okay if we don't know the direction of difference because we're blind. For now, we just want to see if a difference exists across drug and placebo sessions. Do you know if that's possible?

Disclaimer: I am brand new to AFNI, but have experience in FSL and Brainvoyager, please forgive me for newbie mistakes...
