Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Danny,

If you want to correlate the PPI effect of conditionA - conditionB, you can do either of the following:

1) Use 3dcalc to obtain the PPI effect of conditionA - conditionB at the whole brain level for each subject and then do the extraction at the region level;

2) Extract the PPI effect at the region for conditionA and conditionB for each subject and then do the subtraction.

Either way should be fine (they are equivalent).
