Rick,
Thank you very much for this! I had not looked into other_builds directory (it is kind of hard to look for directories, etc amidst so many files with ls even though my directories are color-coded) so I apologize for this.
Is there any preference of one over the other? I am trying the other_builds/Makefile.linux_fedora_19_64
Makefile right now. And the OS notes are a big help, and negated all my efforts of last night
but anyway, we live and learn!
Btw, I am able to run without PyQt4 - though I must say that I have not tried it a lot yet. So, where/why do I need this?
Also, do I need to use tcsh? Or was this only needed during installation? I used to use tcsh (about 7-8 years ago) but have since graduated to bash.
Are these errors I should be worried about:
open.c:(.text+0x23d): warning: the use of `tmpnam' is dangerous, better use `mkstemp'
Many thanks and best wishes,
Ranjan
