AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

** 1000 FUNCTIONAL CONNECTOMES PROJECT (FCP) / INTERNATIONAL NEUROIMAGING DATA-SHARING INITIATIVE (INDI) DATA RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT **

RELEASE NAME: Addiction Connectome Prepocessed Initiative (ACPI)

DATA TYPE: Resting State fMRI, MRI

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Addiction Connectome Preprocessed Initiative (ACPI) aims to facilitate the image processing and analysis of datasets generated by NIDA investigators, with a particular focus on determining the robustness of findings to preprocessing decisions.

In addition to raw data, all data samples released through the ACPI will be made available in preprocessed forms, using 8 distinct imaging processing pipeline strategies. The 8 pipelines differ with respect to the specific steps employed as follows:
1) Registration: ANTs vs. FNIRT
2) Additional Motion Correction: scrubbing vs. no scrubbing
3) Additional Nuisance signal Correction: global signal regression (GSR) vs. no GSR

*In addition to 4D voxelwise data in NIFTI format, Region-of-Interest based average representations of the data for the following four different brain parcellations are also available:
1. Anatomical Automatic Labelling (AAL)
2. Craddock 200
3. Harvard-Oxford (H-O)
4. Random parcels (3200)

Initial releases, now available include:
1) Adults with a childhood history of ADHD recruited through a follow-up of the long-standing Multimodal Treatment Study of ADHD (MTA) (n = 129).
2) Adults with a history of cocaine dependence previously released as the NYU Institute for Pediatric Neuroscience Cocaine Dependence Sample

Additional datasets from populations at risk for, or affected by addiction, will be released throughout the course of the upcoming year.

SHARING TYPE: Unrestricted, retrospective

DISTRIBUTION FORMATS: NIFTI
