Postdoctoral Fellow-PhD position available
Program Summary:
• Interdisciplinary postdoctoral fellowship program in translational aspects of genetics, imaging and psychiatry. Program goals are to create and analyze a large database of psychiatry patients and controls studied with imaging and genetics.
• We use multimodal MRI (reward-related task, resting state functional connectivity, DTI, volumetry) to study psychiatric disease. This position is partially funded by The Menninger Clinic, a large psychiatric clinic in Houston, Texas. We have access to a large and varied population of psychiatric patients. Our long term goal is to develop biomarkers of psychiatric illness.
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. degree in a basic sciences or equivalent, and human brain imaging experience (AFNI, SPM, FSL, etc) is required.
