Hello,
Unless you turn them off, those warnings will always
appear when reading in oblique datasets. They only
remind you that the data is oblique. Note that the
real question is whether the anat and EPI are well
aligned.
Consider testing the vol2surf mapping via the afni
GUI and suma. And make sure the surfaces overlap
properly on the volume data (both anat and EPI).
Also, at least once run "3dWarp -deoblique" on that
grid_parent dataset, and running 3dVol2Surf on the
result. I would expect the result to be different,
but am not positive.
If the results are clearly different, then running
"3dWarp -deoblique" is probably necessary.
