AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

hello AFNI lords

We have a design in which a sound is played during a silent period after which 7 volumes are collected; the first is automatically thrown away by the scanner.

My problem is that the first stimulus takes place before any scanning, and thus the correct time would be negative with respect to the timing of the first volume. However, 3dDeconvolve understandably throws away negative values as unusable.

While I can simply add an extra volume to the front and then censor it out, it starts getting tricky with adding a line to the motion parameters etc. So it would be great if 3dD would model events that start just before scanning as well.

thanks!
