Remove Cardiac and Respiratory effects for Connectiity analysis

Hello afni'ers,

I wanted to know if it was possible to remove cardiac and/or respiratory signals from the timeseries when one has not acquired such data! The goal is to assess effective connectivity during a learning task (so not resting state smiling bouncing smiley ). I was told these signals can dominate correlations in such analysis. I was thinking that since those signas should be more or less quite constant across the experiment, that there might be a way to remove these.

Thank you
Pat
