AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

In my quest to create ROI-defined timedumps of voxel-wise deviations from overall signal mean from each voxel measured across the scanning run, my script features the command:

3dTstat -prefix TimeSerAvg par12dsbpf+orig

where par12dsbpf+orig is the 3d+time EPIRT dataset (which has undergone despiking followed by bandpass filtering) that I wish to "average" into a single (non +time) volume, dubbed "TimeSerAvg"

This results in a written file, yet I cannot see this averaged brain in afni. Why can't I see it? I would expect this averaged brain to look like subject's brain at most points along a cineloop of the original timeseries.

Subsequently, I wish to use 3dcalc to include this averaged brain dataset in the denominator (expressing output as deviations from mean session signal)
