AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. I am getting the same error

SUMA_niml_call: Contacting on tcp:localhost:53211 (0), maximum wait 2.000 sec
(You can change max. wait time with env. SUMA_DriveSumaMaxWait)
-- Error SUMA_niml_call (SUMA_niml.c:536):
NI_stream_open failed (1p).

OS : 10.13.6
afni version: Precompiled binary macosx_10.7_local: Aug 28 2018 (Version AFNI_18.2.15)

I didn't do any updates on afni, it was working fine before on the same system , just suddenly stopped working

I'm using the command

afni -niml &
suma -spec MNI_N27_both.spec -sv MNI_N27_SurfVol.nii

output from: @Quiet_Talkers -list
"searching for talking afni..."

Would really appreciate some help with this,
