AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Tearing of the slice is not something my software can deal with. Some distortions might be okay. If I were trying this, I would start with "3dAllineate -nwarp heptic" and then see what happens.

If that was terrible, then I'd probably try 3dQwarp -- but since I've never tested 3dQwarp with 2D datasets, it might crash, in which case I'd have to patch the code up.

If you are totally new to AFNI, then you will probably have trouble running these programs, since you'll have to put your images into AFNI or NIFTI format first, and then learn how to use the command line tools. If you are somewhat experienced in AFNI, then you might have a chance.
