AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi
Historically our images had been pre-processed and analyzed using a customized script (using FSL BET) but we had some registration issues so we decided to switch to the standard AFNI proc.py generated script.
We ran an 3dANOVA with the proc.py processed data and received the following error message: "FATAL ERROR: dataset differs in size from others"

When we examined an individual’s stats file, we saw huge activation outside the brain (stats.$subj+tlrc.BRIK).
Then, we also looked at the vol-reg files from the proc.py preprocessing script and the FSL BET preprocessing script.

We tried to attach the script from the ANOVA, proc.py script, and our old customized FSL BET script as well as the images comparing the results from two different preprocessing scripts, but can send by email. Can anyone help us figure out why we are getting this error from the 3dANOVA?

Thanks,
Catrina
