AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I am beginning to write the script for modeling Valence and Predictability as within-subjects factors, Age and Sex as between-subjects factors, and PCL-5 as a within-subjects quantitative variable (or would PCL-5 be a between-subjects factor if it is a measure of PTSD symptoms that is only measured once?). Below is a sketch of that script. The examples on [afni.nimh.nih.gov] don't quite align with what I want to look at, so I am not sure what -model should look like, if I need to center my qVars, and if I need to spell out each glt. Any thoughts or advice?

3dLME -prefix unc_cl_test -jobs 1
-model "Valence*Predict*PCL5+Age+Sex"
-qVars "Age,Sex,PCL5"
-qVarCenters ""
-ranEff '~1'
-SS_type 3
-num_glt
-gltLabel 1
-dataTable
