Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Dear AFNI support,

I'm running into the following crash report every time I try to launch AFNI from a student account in the lab. I'm not sure if the issue has to do with read and write permissions (the software was downloaded successfully by an admin account; when launching AFNI from that account, there are no issues). If someone can please advise me about what to do next, I would appreciate it.

+ opening windows, or you cannot type text into AFNI popup windows,
+ you might need to set an environment variable to solve this problem:
+ setenv DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH /opt/X11/lib/flat_namespace
+ This command is best put in your startup ~/.cshrc file, so that
+ it will be invoked for every (t)csh shell you open.
