AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Henry,

When using 3dttest++ -Clustsim (or -ETAC), it is good to supply your group level
mask, but there is nothting else to do. The input is exactly as without -Clust
sim, presumably a bunch of beta weights.

3dttest++ -Clustsim (or -ETAC) uses permutation testing on the residuals from that t-test to compute cluster criterea, which are then output to the same sorts of tables that 3dClustSim would produce (-ETAC outputs binary significance maps, instead).

For example, it would be enough to add -Clustsim (and -mask) to AFNI_data6/group_results/s6.ttest.covary, as you could try out with the sample data for bootcamps.

Does that seem reasonable?
