Applications are currently being invited for a Neuroimaging Data Analyst position in the Computational Neuroimaging Laboratories (CNL) within the Center for the Biomedical Imaging and Neuromodulation (C-BIN) at the Nathan Kline Institute (NKI), under the direction of Alexandre R. Franco, PhD. A primary responsibility of this position will be to establish, maintain and continually improve data acquisition, data storage, transfer, and security and perform quality control processes for a multisite and multimodal Neuroimaging Study (Electrocorticography [ECoG] and MRI data).
The Neuroimaging Data Analyst will be responsible for curating the neuroimaging data from multiple sites within a CONTE Center for Basic Neuroscience Research. Tasks include; managing and maintaining a neuroinformatics platform, performing quality control of the data, and supporting researchers of the CONTE Center. The position also includes travel to the project sites to set up site data transfer and train the local staff to upload imaging data to the centralized neuroinformatics platform. He/she will be directly reporting to Dr. Franco, but also working closely with researchers of the other projects within the CONTE center and C-BIN.
Successful candidates must have sufficient computational technical skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Matlab, bash scripts) to independently develop and maintain a database, modify processing pipelines, and apply novel data analysis strategies. As experience grows, the analyst will be expected to provide supervision for junior researchers in their data curation efforts.
