AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Howdy-

You are not alone in PyQt4 difficulties with Python3; this is a known issue:
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
... but actually, at present we don't really recommend using uber_subject.py, as it doesn't have the full pipeline-specification flexibility that using afni_proc.py itself directly does.

We would typically recommend starting from one of the "afni_proc.py -help" examples, which can be seen here:
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
and there are also some examples from publications here:
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
(though some of those have caveats about options selected, due to restrictions imposed by a particular study).

We also have some good starting examples in the AFNI Bootcamp demo sets, for example:
AFNI_demos/AFNI_pamenc/afni_scripts/c.*

and posting+asking about your in-progress afni_proc.py command here is always welcomed!
