Hi there,

I am using a linear mixed effect model to test some data within a series of 6 of network masks. It is the exact same model/type of data/number and proportion of conditions and subjects, just different networks. The model works correctly for 5 of the masks, but for some reason hangs at this step for the sixth mask:

"If the program hangs here for more than, for example, half an hour,
kill the process because the model specification or the GLT coding
is likely inappropriate."

I'm trying to think of an explanation for why this particular one does not work, when the model specification is otherwise identical to the others. I wondered if it could have to do with the mask size? It is the smallest of the 6 masks, 11547 non-zero voxels compared to 13662 for the next smallest mask (which works). I'm wondering if there are any other possibilities or if there is something else I could be doing incorrectly?
