AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I'm using 3dmvm for a within-subjects design with 3 factors (2 levels each). In addition to the main effects and interactions, I'm interested in some specific GLTs. My question is: If I only specify one level of one factor, what does it compare to? For example, does it compare to everything else in the model or to what's not in the model ("baseline")? E.g., the following:

-gltCode 7 'Stim1: 1*Pain'

where Stim1 is one of the factors and it can take the level Pain or Nonpain.

Hope my question is clear. Thanks!
