Neuroimaging Staff Research Associate

Job Description
Under supervision, the individual will work as a Staff Research Associate for studies bridging clinical neuropsychology, advanced neuroimaging, and cognitive neuroscience, primarily in patients with epilepsy and brain tumors. Duties will include: A) neuropsychological testing and scoring; B) recruitment and scheduling of patients and healthy controls; C) database creation and management; D) MRI, fMRI, DTI, iEEG scanning; and E) data processing. The individual will gain experience in clinical and research settings working with healthy controls and patients with neurological disorders and assisting with poster and paper presentations for publication and professional research conferences. The individual will also perform administrative support functions as needed such as assisting with IRB preparation and travel reimbursement. The individual may also participate in manuscript preparation and grant writing and will work with a team of neuropsychologists, neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, cognitive scientists and neurologists, as well as postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and medical residents. Strong communication skills are required. Experience with Matlab, AFNI, and Freesurer are preferred. Computer programming skills and experience as an MRI operator are also preferred.
