Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear all,

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral associate in the Neuromodulation for Addiction Laboratory at the Menninger Clinic and Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). The Menninger Clinic, BCM affiliated private inpatient psychiatry clinic, is a world leader in psychiatric treatment, research, and education. The lab focuses on identifying a biomarker for psychiatric disorders, particularly addiction, using fMRI, non-invasive brain stimulation, statistical tools, and clinical trials.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related field are welcome to apply. Expertise with fMRI (AFNI, SPM, or FSL) and strong programming and statistical skills are required. Experience in non-invasive brain stimulation (e.g., TMS) or working with psychiatric patients would be preferred, but not necessary. A promising academic record, including publications, abstracts, or scientific presentations, is desirable. The successful candidate will have numerous opportunities for manuscript and grant writing and collaboration with various teams at Texas Medical Center (TMC), the world's largest medical center. This position is ideally suited for submission of early career awards from research foundations as well as NIH training grants. Expecting starting date is fall 2022, but it is flexible.

To apply please go to: BCM Jobs
