AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi All.
Our console operator does not know how to get 1x1x1 anatomicals without doing some sort of 3 dimensional imaging. He said this would take about 40 minutes. Of course, this is
way too long. I'm sure there must be a simpler way to do it.

The acquisition parameters used with the 1.5T Siemens did not give us good images. My colleagues attribute it to differences in scanner type.
The education materials (AFNI02.pdf) contains the scanner log info for a 3T GE anatomical scan. However, I'm not sure what a TE of "M. Full" or "BW 15.13" refers to.

Can anyone provide specific acquisition parameters that they have used successfully in producing 1x1x1 anats with a 1.5T GE Signa scanner.

Thanks.
