AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

What do you mean by "AOI" - Area Of Interest? To see the intensity values of the dataset being viewed, you can open the "Define Function" control panel. When all 3 image windows are open, you will see at the bottom of this panel the numbers for the anatomical, functional, and threshold images at the crosshair focus point.

If you turn on the environment variable AFNI_VALUE_LABEL to YES, which can be done in Datamode->Misc->Edit Environment, or in your .afnirc file, then this display info will also be shown even if only 1 image window is open.

Also, you can look at the numbers of the anatomical underlay only using the Graph window, in text mode.
