Hi AFNI experts!

I wonder, if there is a possibility to save the plots of 1dplot on a command line as ps.file without using the GUI.
This would be very convennient since I could make this plots in the background during my preprocessing script are running.
I tried something like 1dplot file.1D > file.ps, but this did not work and as far as I can see there is no -save option in 1dplot.

Any suggestions would be warmly wellcome.
