AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Dr. Cox,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we use the Edit Tagset plugin on a regular basis here in my lab. I am currently a research assistant at the Biomagnetism Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

My current research compares functional brain studies carried out with fMRI and MEG. MEG localizes activation by fitting an X, Y, Z coordinate position to an Equivalent Current Dipole (displayed as a tag on the image). The Tagset plugin can be used to overlay these Dipole fits unto the MRI anatomical while simultaneously overlaying the fMRI contour maps as functional maps as well.

This allows a direct comparison of localization results in the MRI anatomicals between the two different functional modalities (MEG and fMRI).

Your plugin is very useful for this application.

I guess I should just wait until the next release? Right? Please keep us informed regarding the update.

I appreciate your response on this.

Thanks much,
-ralph
