AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi AFNI gurus,

My boss, David Van Essen, and I find the utility 3dUniformize very useful. For whatever reason, it is not included in the default build (e.g., if you wget binaries from the afni site, or even if you build vastness, if I'm not mistaken). You have to explicitly make it. It would be nice if it were included in the default build. (We use AFNI on four platforms, several hosts.)

While I'm being so bold as to throw around requests, it also would be very nice if it could handle byte datum type. (It seems to work, but the results are "interesting.")

Thanks for listening,
