AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Recently (last few AFNI versions) when I run 3dFDR every sub-brick gets Z transformed (FDRz). I seem to recall that previous versions of 3dFDR only Z-corrected the p-value sub-brick. This recent behavior occurs whether I use fim+ (4 sub-brick) datasets, 3dANOVA outputs with main effects and contrasts, or pull fim/fitt sub-bricks out using a selector option, and occurs on both my OSX and Linux machines. Also, the display of the resulting 3dFDR doesn't seem to always work if I use the function/threshold option (a lot of the brain has function set to "0" even though the threshold is significant, e.g., Z > 1.96 @ .05). Did something change?
