Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Dear AFNI users-
This weekend, we plan to migrate the AFNI Message Board to a new framework. This will greatly update its interface, modernizing and expanding the interaction. We believe this will facilitate better neuroimaging discussions and understanding.

Ranjan,
Can you try to clear your cache to see if this resolves the problem. On firefox: History -> Clear RecentHistory -> then select a time range -> everything
Let me know if this resolves your problem.
Thanks

Have you edited the /sw/bin/fink.conf file to access unstable fink repositories... i.e.
Trees: local/main stable/main stable/crypto unstable/main unstable/crypto

Hi Mingbo,
The problem is caused by a poor estimate of what the single iteration smoothing kernel ought to be. The program tries to be conservative and pick a small one but sometimes it is too small and convergence cannot be reached. The decrease in FWHM is most likely due to precision errors in the smoothing or the estimation of the smoothness.
If you were using SurfSmooth directly, you can

Diana,
The Cygwin installation is no longer supported. You may try one of these options to run AFNI on a windows OS. They have been successful for our windows users during our bootcamp classes.
