Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hello,
A task of mine involves creating figures of cluster-corrected functional activation overlaid over suma, with the hemispheres pried open.
I have most of the process automated using a DriveAfni + DriveSuma script, save for prying the hemispheres open (i.e. ctrl + mouse-drag left). Can this be automated via DriveSuma?
Also, is applying cluster correction available through DriveAfni?

For @SUMA_AlignToExperiment, is it better to use a epi-aligned, high-resolution T1 dataset? Or is it better to use a T1 dataset that has been downsampled to the epi dataset?

I am trying to render cluster corrected, volumetric 3dttest++ results in surface space using 3dVol2Surf. Normally, I would simply use the afni and suma viewers together to accomplish this, but I need to use 3dVol2Surf since I would like to view multiple overlays in surface space.
For a quick test, I converted output from 3dClusterize (-pref_dat <some_map>) to surface space using 3dVol2Su

For our study, we are hoping to model an interaction between two between-subject factors (both with two levels each) on fMRI task activation. We are not currently including continuous covariates.
For our purposes, would it be best to model the categorical interaction using 3dMVM?

Thanks for the solution!
We have several afni versions available: the data was processed using AFNI_16.3.08 (we have updated afni binaries I can use).
Using angular bracket notation as you specified successfully generated the ROI!

Hello AFNI community,
I am trying to extract Destrieaux ROIs from data that was processed using an older version of AFNI/SUMA. The data has already been processed through suma (i.e. @SUMA_Make_Spec_FS, @SUMA_AlignToExperiment, etc.). When attempting to extract and combine ROIs from aparc.a2009s+aseg_rank_Alnd_Exp, e.g. using 3dcalc, I get the following error:
$ 3dcalc -a aparc.a2009s+aseg_r
