Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Dear AFNI experts,
I was able to find out that I was trying to view the time-series in the wrong file. Please ignore this thread.
Thanks,

Dear AFNI experts,
My processed data's time-series plots show a straight line only from t=0 to t=1 (see attached image). However, the time-series should certainly look more like my raw data's time-series (see other attached image).
Would you be able to advise how I could fix this error - it seems that only two timepoints are being considered in the processed data? I can also sen

I also have a third question: I intend to compare the pleasant-neutral and unpleasant-neutral contrasts between the exercise and rest conditions, so have accordingly set up those contrasts in the afni_proc.py script that I have sent above, in my original post. But, I also want to compare neutral/pleasant/unpleasant activation to activity during "off" periods during which there is no sti

Dear AFNI experts,
My data involves each participant doing a picture-viewing task after exercise, and after rest. After preprocessing my 31 subjects using afni_proc.py, I have found that I have some subjects with lots of head motion:
AES101 Exercise condition - 41.0% TRs censored, Rest condition: 34.8% TRs censored
AES104 Exercise condition - 70.9% TRs censored, Rest condition: 66.8% TRs

Hi pt,
Given the below feedback from the script, would you suggest I adjust my timing files using timing_tool.py first, before running afni_proc.py? i.e. Since a TR=2.0s, would subtracting 4.0s from each stimulus time be the way to go?
** warning: removing first 2 TRs from beginning of each run
--> the stimulus timing files must reflect the removal of these TRs
And thank you for

Dear AFNI experts,
I developed an afni_proc.py script for my project and tested it on my first subject, but am receiving errors. I am also receiving the same errors when testing the script on another subject. Please note, to get the different files needed as input into my afni_proc.py script, I first completed the following: I used dcm2niix to convert both the structural file and the function
