Our twist
Instead
of interpolating data values to the icosahedral nodes, interpolate using the
coordinates
of the original
surfaceÕs node.
This
results in a surface that is virtually identical in geometry to the original
surface but
with the mesh of the icosahedron.
Cross-subject
surface based
analysis is thus reduced to node-based analysis
