NOTE: Below are the Operating System specific installation instructions for setting up your laptop for the bootcamp.
                              We encourage you to install AFNI as soon as possible to make yourself familiar with the software
                              and also for us to help with any installation problems you may have before the class.

Linux:		- It's Recommended that computer's Operating System is a recent release of Linux   







Mac OS X:	- It's Recommended that computer's Operating System is at least Snow Leopard 10.6    








Windows		- AFNI is not a native Microsoft Windows application, however functionality for this class with be
		  acheived by either installing VirtualBox(virtualization software) or Wubi(Ubuntu installer)  
                  
                Note: VirtualBox allows you to run linux inside windows but shares its resources with window and may be
                      problematic with laptops with limited resources. 
                      
                      Wubi allows you to install a ubuntu on a virtual partition and gives you the option to boot to either
                      without sharing resources and taking advantage of your hardware.
