AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I believe we had that topic a while ago.

I tried to import a transformation matrix from flirt into 3dWarp using the -fsl_matvec option.

That didn't work for me.

Looking at the transformation matrix from a simple shift example 3dWarpDrive gets me (re-arranging in rows):
1 0 0 7
0 1 0 5
0 0 1 3

and flirt gives me (ignoring line 4 from flirt matrix)
1 0 0 7
0 1 0 -5
0 0 1 -3

As I understand -fsl_matvec is supposed to fix that sign difference, but using that with 3dWarp doesn't work correctly for me, while manually changing that sign did.

Any insight please?

Thanks,
Wolfgang
