AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Happy New Year to Everybody!

My dataset is a spiral axial oblique acquisition, irregular timing, TR=10seconds, 32 Timepoints, 3T magnet;

I was computing a quality index for each subbrik in the motion corrected mybrik_1+orig dataset using the following command:

3dTqual -range –automask mybrik_1+orig | 1dplot –one -stdin

The ploted graph for the dataset can be seen at [ftp.rotman-baycrest.on.ca]

The graph (ex0.jpg) shows that there are some subbriks that are outliers in this dataset. I have examined the dataset and it seems that the intensity changed at timepoint 10 (e.g), but I cannot say that it was a huge change in intensity. The motion coorection graph looks fine for this dataset ( see MCgraph_ex0.jpg) , so the problem doesn't come from motion.

The first timepoint and the last two in the run will be discarded from analysis. I wonder what can I do with those that are in the middle of the run?

This problem appears in 3 out of 7 runs in my scanning session.

Regards,
Teodora
