AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all,

I apologise if this question has been answered a thousand times already but I just want to check before I get started...
I am creating regressors according to stim type, the particular choice subjects made and the feedback they received - this creates a crazy number of conditions but also, for each subject, large variation in the number of conditions that actually contain events.

So, I gather that I can't just set up the same 3dDeconvolve script for everyone, regardless of whether some of the regressors are empty (just contain a * for the stim_times option) - instead I need to tailor the analysis and include only regressors that contain events, is that correct? Otherwise I run into collinearity issues? I'm just worried it's going to be a major headache at the group stage, but I suppose as long as I label everything correctly, I'll be alright!

Cheers,
Clare
