AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Greetings All,

I am having an issue with 3dTshift: our in-house software converts images from Siemens IMA/MOSAIC format to ANALYZE hdr/img pairs, which I then merge along the time axis with FSL's avwmerge utility. Everything seems to be fine at this point, and the data looks okay in both AFNI and FSL. However, when I apply 3dTshift, a sinc function-like spike appears at time index 225. I've tried -ignore, -rlt+, and a few other options in 3dTshift, but it's still no go.

With your permission, I'd like to upload a dataset tarball as JeSmithNKI.tgz. It's only one dataset, but this problem occurs with ANY of the datasets, and always at volume 225.

There are many, many more details in the README file in the tarball....

Thanks,

Jeremy Smith
