A full-time Post-Doctoral position is available to work with Dr. Tony Yang, Department of Psychiatry, UCSF. The post-doctoral fellow will work on a NIMH-funded research project to study depressed and healthy adolescents using BOLD fMRI, DTI, and ASL. Applicants should have experience with fMRI such as data acquisition, processing, and analysis. The applicant should have significant experience with MR image analysis using programs such as AFNI, SPM, and FSL. The ideal applicant will have extensive experience using AFNI, SPM, and FSL for fMRI data analyses, excellent working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting, and significant programming expertise. Experience with statistical analysis packages (i.e., SPSS or R) is also extremely desirable. Experience with neuropsychological testing is also desirable, but not mandatory. Pay is based upon the NIH RO1 grant salary scale. The position is available starting July 1st, 2012, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. UCSF is an EO/AA Employer.
