AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello, AFNI experts

I am running 3dRetinoPhase command with EPI functional data.
After preprocessing, I run the 3dRetinoPhase.....

3dRetinoPhase -exp BOLD+orig -prefix RESULT -Tstim 40 -nwedges 1 -phase_estimate FFT (I used the rotating wedge stimulation.)

In GUI, I can see the phase map (RESULT+orig) overlaid on BOLD+orig. I think that the RESULT+orig is showing the phase value ( "degree" ). It could be time delay.
For example, OLay = 180.0003 in GUI.

I am wondering what this value represent?
If a certain region has the phase value of 180, was the brain region activated when the wedge passed just in "the six o'clock position" ?? (We assume that the wedge started in the 12 o'clock position)

Thanks in advance.
