AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I'm wondering how I can get t-stats for my ROI after I have used 3dmaskdump on the values of the coefficient sub-brik from a whole brain contrast.

What I'm wondering is whether I can take the coefficient values (which are the intensity values of the mean differences) and then input them into Excel/SPSS and run a single sample t-test to get the standard deviation and standard error for the values within the ROI.

If so, would I then divided the voxel values by the reported SD or SE to get revised t-stats for the ROI? And would I then be able to undump these values into the AFNI GUI.

Thanks!
