AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Description: Applications are invited for a post doctoral position within the Departments of Neurology and Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. Research focuses on the application of functional MRI methods to neurodegenerative diseases (including Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and HIV Associated Dementia (HAD)). This research investigates the impact of functional neuroimaging measures (including arterial spin labeling (ASL) and resting state blood oxygen dependent (BOLD) imaging) as a biomarker for neurodegenerative diseases. Opportunities will be provided for pursuing personal research interests if applicable. Writing manuscripts and applying for independent grants will be strongly encouraged.

Requirements: The qualified candidate should have at least a degree in neurosciences, psychology, bioengineering, physics, computer science, or other related fields. Previous experience with computational methods and neuroimaging programs (e.g. Unix, C/C++, MatLab, SPM, AFNI, Freesurfer) is preferred and would allow for more individualized studies. Strong facility with statistical analyses is also desired.
