We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher experienced in the collection and analysis of structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging data to work on a 5-year longitudinal project of brain changes among elderly participants in the context of a clinical trial to enhance cognition using mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), exercise, or a combination of the two. Activities will include harmonization of protocols across two study sites (UC San Diego and Washington University, St. Louis), data collection, data cleaning and quality control, and collaborative data analysis. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related field; some experience with resting state fMRI and Freesurfer-based analyses of structural images preferred. Work will be carried out as part of a UC San Diego team led by site co-PI Julie Wetherell, Ph.D., under the direct supervision of Lisa T.
