AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

History of AFNI updates

To celebrate the new year, we now have a new scheme for identifying the version of AFNI. With upgrades starting January 1, 2016, the version will look like this:

afni -ver
Precompiled binary linux_fedora_21_64: Jan 1 2016 (Version AFNI_16.0.00)

The version number is built on a year, quarter and build index. For more information, please see

http://afni.nimh.nih.gov/pub/dist/MOTD/MOTD_2015_12_30.txt

The same information will appear after your first upgrade this year as a "message of the day" from the afni GUI.

Happy New Year!
